I deal with all aspects of Irish, UK, EU and International trade marks including:

Undertaking full trade mark clearances searches and common law searches to clear trade marks for use and registration.

Advising clients on the adoption of new trade marks and drafting appropriate specifications. Advising clients on the most suitable trade mark filing system to ensure that their IP portfolio is adequately protected.

Reviewing official actions from Intellectual Property Offices and drafting and filing responses at the IPOs to overcome both absolute and relative ground objections.

Advising clients in relation to the transfer of their trade mark portfolios. Includes reviewing portfolios, drafting transfer documents and recording the relevant transfers at the IPOs.

Member of APTMA, CITMA and ECTA.

Prior to joining Lewis Silkin I worked at an Irish IP firm for a number of years.
