About

I am an Associate in the Employment team and have experience working with a wide range of clients, including global, specialist, and local employers in both the private and public sectors regarding contentious and non-contentious employment matters. My practice includes day-to-day advisory matters, litigation, running investigations, and managing large-scale multinational projects. I utilise legal tech where suitable throughout my matters. I also advise individuals on all aspects of their employment including the negotiation of exit terms and settlement agreements. Furthermore, I have undertaken a secondment at a global insurer in their Employee Relations team.

I am in the investigations, international, collectives, and modern slavery, specialist groups. I also enjoy providing client training and speaking at panel events.

My areas of interest are DEI issues, in particular, LGBTQIAA+ matters and disability (with a focus on neurodiversity), including advising on ill-health capability and reasonable adjustment matters. I also have specific experience running large-scale settlement agreement projects and negotiations. Additionally, I enjoying running external investigations. I have experience leading multiple sensitive investigations including into complaints of serious sexual harassment, racial harassment, fraud and misrepresentation, and modern day slavery against all levels of employees and management.

  • Providing specialist advice regarding LGBTQIAA+ issues (including trans and non-binary matters)
  • Advising on matters relating to disability, in particular ill-health capability matters, reasonable adjustments, and neurodiversity
  • Running investigations into sensitive areas, including serious and systemic sexual harassment, racial harassment, and modern-day slavery
  • Managing large-scale redundancy and restructuring exercises including managing settlement agreements and negotiations
  • Navigating employment disputes in a commercial and strategic manner, including grievances, whistleblowing concerns, performance and conduct issues, and termination of employment, such as unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, and negotiated exits via settlement agreements
  • Representing both claimants and defendants on contentious tribunal claims
  • Advising businesses in industrial relations matters
  • Providing advice for multinational clients by coordinating and refining advice from international colleagues
  • Utilising legal technology in creative and commercial ways

  • Advising on neurodiversity including adjustments for the workplace, grievance and disciplinary processes, mediation, and managing occupational health
  • Providing training on DEI matters including non-binary and trans, LGBTQIAA+ inclusion, neurodiversity, disability and reasonable adjustments, mediation, Gen-Z workforce, and ESG

  • Conducting sensitive and complex investigations into employee relations matters including disciplinary and grievances processes regarding misconduct and gross misconduct
  • Drafting detailed investigation reports drawing on witness, documentary, and expert evidence
  • Advising businesses on their own investigations and next steps
  • Assisting on large-scale complex investigations regarding multiple sensitive allegations
