Modern slavery - transparency in supply chains

Although many organisations take steps to promote ethical business practices and have policies to protect workers from being exploited, the Government considers that there is a significant way to go to tackle so-called “modern slavery”.
It has therefore introduced a new obligation on large organisations to publish an annual statement setting out the steps they have taken to prevent modern slavery in their organisation and their supply chains.
