Our Consumer Law Academy is essential training for in-house lawyers and other legal professionals for whom understanding and advising on consumer law is an important part of their role.

What is the Consumer Law Academy?

Our Consumer Law Academy will tackle a range of topics and issues that consumer-facing businesses deal with on a daily basis. Delivered by our experienced team of regulatory lawyers – with expertise in consumer protection, advertising and marketing, and data protection law – our training consists of six key sessions, delivered over two afternoons.

Who is this training for?

The Consumer Law Academy is aimed at in-house lawyers and other legal professionals wanting to upskill and increase their knowledge of consumer law and the key areas relevant to protecting a business when dealing with consumers.

Why should I attend?

We are currently in the middle of a consumer law revolution, with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act super-charging consumer protection laws and giving the CMA significant new enforcement powers, including the ability to fine businesses up to 10% of global turnover. Now more than ever, it is essential for businesses to understand how to comply with the law and avoid costly mistakes.
