This article by Janna Q Anderson, writing for Medium, explains that in just the next few decades, work in most conventional settings will be nearly 100 percent accomplished by either (1) algorithm-driven software/ machines in more of the solo or machine-to-machine interactions already accomplishing a great deal of work or (2)  human-and-algorithm-based partnerships. The article explores the significance of the unintended consequences that accompany an "algorithmic takeover" of work.
