This PwC report explores how people think the workplace will evolve and how this will affect their employment prospects and future working lives, finding that 37% are worried about automation putting jobs at risk (up from 33% in 2014), but at the same time, 74% are ready to learn new skills or re-train to remain employable in the future. It identifies five key megatrends - technological breakthroughs, demographic shifts, rapid urbanisation, shifts in global economic power, and resource scarcity and climate change - which form the foundation for four very different models for the future - the "Four Worlds of Work" for 2030 - outlined in the report.
