This report from McKinsey reveals that women leaders are switching jobs at the highest rate yet and suggests we are in a ‘Great Breakup’, with women demanding more from work and leaving companies in unprecedented numbers to get it. It's increasingly important to women leaders that they work for companies that prioritise flexibility, employee well-being, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The report concludes that if companies don’t take action, they risk losing not only their current women leaders, but the next generation as well. Young women are even more ambitious and place a higher premium on working in an equitable, supportive, and inclusive workplace.
