In this report, we discuss recent demographic trends and the main factors behind decreasing fertility rates across the globe. We explore the impacts and concerns for employers and investigate the role they can play in encouraging fertility among their employees, including policies around family leave.  The report also highlights that as the global population ages, employers can also expect the age profile of their workforce to evolve, brining with it new challenges and opportunities for HR policies designed to recruit and retain older workers.
