BSI’s recent survey, analysing data from more than 900 business leaders across nine global markets and seven sectors, finds that employee health and employer flexibility are key elements to harnessing a future age-diverse workforce.

The report spotlights the following priorities for businesses: (1) offering flexibility around when, where or how much people work; (2) providing opportunities for retraining people to new roles throughout their careers; (3) implementing formal compassionate and personal leave policies; (4) providing support around physical health and mental well-being; and (5) a greater focus on ensuring people remain challenged by their work or roles.
