In this report, the Work Foundation examines two key reforms in the Employment Rights Bill, day one rights and minimum guaranteed hours. The findings indicate the Bill has the potential to significantly improve access to secure work in the UK but also highlight the need for strong legislative design, robust enforcement and wider sectoral reform to fully realise its benefits.
