PwC’s latest Global Workforce Hopes and Fears Survey reveals that compared to infrequent gen AI users, daily users are more likely to have seen tangible benefits to productivity, job security, and salaries. They are also more likely to be optimistic about the impacts of AI across these and every other benchmark surveyed. However, the survey also finds that while organisations are investing in upskilling efforts to contend with new and emerging technologies, such efforts are uneven and more can be done to help workers develop skills and thrive amidst a challenging economy. The research emphasises that leaders should try to co-create the future with their people and highlights six key actions that help them get started.
