The Boston Consulting Group’s fourth annual AI at Work survey reveals that AI is changing jobs faster than companies are redesigning operating models to keep up.

It finds that a breakthrough 74% of frontline employees are now regular AI users, with 42% reporting they save a full workday each week. Yet most organisations haven't figured out how to convert that time into value. The report emphasises that the driving force for long-term success is strategic clarity, noting that having an explicit plan is so crucial that it improves AI’s impact even at organisations with limited access to AI tools. It outlines five CEO imperatives to capture AI’s collective benefits and enhance engagement and job satisfaction.
