About

I am an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team, specialising in intellectual property and media disputes, having completed my training contract with the firm in 2025. I advise clients across a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on media & entertainment, retail & hospitality, and technology.

Having studied Biology at university, I work closely with our patent attorney teams to provide full-service advice on patent registration, portfolio management and enforcement of rights.

I gained a wealth of commercial experience during my training contract, both inside and outside of the firm. After completing a seat in the Digital, Commerce & Creative team, I was seconded to a production studio at a major music label.

Experience

Intellectual property

  • Advising clients on contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the protection, enforcement and exploitation of all intellectual property and related rights including patents, designs, trade marks, passing off, copyright and confidential information
  • Working with our trade mark attorneys in relation to trade mark infringement matters, and invalidity and revocation actions in the EUIPO and UKIPO
  • Working with our patent attorneys in relation to patent infringement matters, and protection and enforcement of their patent portfolio
  • Advising clients on commercial solutions to matters including co-existence and settlement agreements
  • Monitoring online brands and taking enforcement action against infringers, including ordering the delivery up of counterfeit goods and take down of infringing materials

Media & entertainment

  • Advising clients in relation to defamation, malicious falsehood, and data protection claims
  • Protecting the reputation of individuals and businesses, including ordering the takedown of defamatory material on social media platforms
  • Acting for clients in the High Court and County Courts on media disputes
