Lewis Silkin bolsters corporate and professional services teams with partner appointment

Lewis Silkin has today announced the appointment of corporate and professional practices specialist Chris Hallinan as a partner in the firm’s London office.

An expert in professional practices, Chris has extensive knowledge and understanding of LLP and partnership law, particularly in relation to governance and constitutional arrangements, M&A and regulatory issues – including those involving the SRA and with an international dimension. 

Chris’s experience includes working with firms across the legal, accounting and wider professional and financial services industries, including advising international law firms on structuring arrangements, governance reviews and bespoke litigation funding models, as well as professional services M&A in the UK, Europe and North America.

Chris has previously been named as an ‘Associate to Watch’ by Chambers & Partners, and named a ‘Rising Star’ by Legal 500. He is a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners where he sits as a member of the ‘Up and Coming Committee’.

Chris joins Lewis Silkin from Addleshaw Goddard. He becomes part of the firm’s tier one (Legal 500corporate practice group, led by Paul Rajput, and deepens its specialism in the professional services sector – with the firm being well known as ‘the lawyer’s lawyers’, having advised more than half of the UK’s top 30 firms.
