I joined Lewis Silkin in 2016, and run a practice that is centred around a multi-stage approach to corporate finance. I also co-head the firm’s technology sector group.
I give regular presentations and write articles, for audiences of entrepreneurs and investors. My background is primarily with US law firms in London.
I advise on the full range of corporate finance transactions, from seed and angel investment rounds to IPOs, sales and acquisitions. My clients are companies, founders, investors and financial institutions at every stage of that journey, and my advice on each transaction benefits from my experience of the types of transactions that the business has been through, and is hoping to get to in the future.
For companies and founders I also advise on the transactional and day-to-day requirements that arise including issues with leavers, joint ventures, and ensuring that shareholder rights and obligations are balanced.
The majority of my work is with technology companies and the investors who back them. My current client base covers a wide variety of technologies, from SAAS to hardware and from B2B fintech to B2C consumer tech. As well as English clients, I regularly work with companies from outside the UK who are looking to establish here for expansion or investment, and with investors taking positions in some of the UK’s pool of tech companies.
