I advise clients on a wide range of commercial agreements, from general services contracts to sponsorship agreements to influencer agreements. I work closely with clients in the media and entertainment industries, but also advise sports clubs, retailers, and advertising and marketing agencies. As well as drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts, I also help brands and agencies with the legal and regulatory issues that arise when creating and rolling out advertising and marketing campaigns.

Commercial

I work with clients across multiple sectors to draft, negotiate and advise on a range of commercial contracts, including client/agency agreements, franchising, talent, technology and general services agreements.

Brands & Intellectual Property

My work involves helping clients protect and exploit their intellectual property rights, including working with them to draft and negotiate sponsorship agreements, talent agreements and influencer agreements.

My experience also includes advising brands and agencies on clearance issues for UK advertising campaigns and coordinating international advice for cross-border campaigns. This involves helping clients navigate the legal and regulatory issues that can arise in these projects, such as advising on ownership of various IP rights and dealings with the ASA.

Media & Entertainment

My work in this sector includes working with creative agencies, festival organisers, and talent agencies amongst others to advise on various legal issues, from negotiating artist agreements or venue agreements, to advising on contracts with suppliers or production companies.

I have worked with clients in the media and entertainment sectors for a number of years, including spending time in-house on secondment to a theatre company and a modelling agency. Prior to joining the team, I also spent three years in the firm’s Immigration practice advising agencies, brands and individuals on the global movement of talent.

Sports Business

I work with brands and clubs to advise on a range of commercial and intellectual property matters. I previously spent time in-house on secondment to a Premier League football club and, prior to joining the Commercial team, worked with clubs and players to advise on immigration issues arising from the international transfer of players.
