I joined Lewis Silkin in 2018 upon qualification. I completed my training contract in-house at a global technology company, during which I worked on employment matters throughout. Prior to this, I worked in HR for three years, focusing primarily on the implementation of TUPE transfers in both the private and public sector for the services arm of the business, as well as working on day to day employee relations matters.

I act for both employers and employees on all aspects of employment law including drafting employment related documentation such as contracts, settlement agreements and policies and advising on day to day matters such as performance management, redundancies, disciplinaries and grievances. I also advise on more specialist matters including TUPE, where I advise on both the process and the corporate contractual provisions as well as atypical working, which encompasses matters such as apprenticeships, IR35, agency workers and contracts with freelancers / contractors and employment businesses.

From a contentious perspective, I manage a number of Employment Tribunal claims including unfair dismissal, breach of contract, whistleblowing and all forms of discrimination. A large part of my work also involves working with our international colleagues in the Ius Laboris alliance to provide clients with foreign law advice or run projects on a multi-national basis.
