I joined Lewis Silkin in 2024 as a Solicitor Apprentice based in the Immigration team in London. I assist in managing Biometric Residence Permits and eVisas while working closely with clients. I support the immigration team, through conducting research and helping colleagues address clients' issues.
I am accredited by ACL, which allows me to effectively manage Biometric Residence Permits (BRPs) in accordance with current legal standards and best practices.
I am an active member of Lewis Silkin's internal Social Mobility Group, as well as the Race and Ethnicity Group. These initiatives focus on promoting inclusivity and diversity within the organisation.
Outside work, I am an Ambassador for the Brown Girl League, contributing to efforts that empower and support women of colour in their professional journeys. This involvement allows me to further advocate for diversity and inclusion in broader contexts.
Alongside my employment at Lewis Silkin, I am studying for my law degree at BPP Law School. Prior to joining the firm, I was an A-level student studying psychology, sociology and business.
I can interact well in a variety of multicultural contexts because I speak English, Pashto, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu fluently. I am also a member of the Immigration Practitioners' Legal Association (IPLA) and ACL accredited.
