About

I am an Associate in the Manchester Employment team here at Lewis Silkin. I studied Law at Lancaster University, before completing my LPC in 2023 at BPP University in Manchester. Following this, I undertook my training contract at Napthens LLP, spending 12 months within the Employment team, where I gained hands‑on experience advising employers on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

I work with clients across a variety of sectors, providing practical and commercial advice to assist with a wide range of employment issues.

  • Drafting and advising on a range of employment documents such as contracts of employment, settlement agreements and staff handbooks.
  • Advising on day-to-day employment queries relating to a wide variety of issues, i.e. disciplinary and grievance processes, absence management, performance management, redundancy etc.
  • Assisting senior fee earners with employment tribunal claims. My previous experience involved drafting various documents including grounds of resistance and witness statements, managing disclosure, preparing bundles, liaising with chambers to book counsel, and attending tribunal hearings to take notes.
