I'm an employment lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience advising UK and global clients across a broad range of sectors, including infrastructure, consumer goods, financial services and the public sector. I take a practical, commercially focused approach to advising clients - whether that's navigating complex TUPE or restructuring projects, supporting senior exits or helping employers manage day-to-day workplace challenges.

TUPE / Outsourcing

  • Supporting businesses navigate the complexities of TUPE transfers
  • Drafting and negotiating TUPE provisions in outsourcing agreements, including indemnity protection and TUPE surcharge mechanisms
  • Helping clients during the bidder engagement process, including assisting with responses to bidder queries and supporting bidder engagement sessions

Employment Litigation

  • Defending high value, complex and sensitive Employment Tribunal claims involving discrimination and whistleblowing
  • Advising on strategy around early settlement of potential claims
  • Providing clear risk analyses to clients in respect of live claims

Transactional Support

  • Drafting and negotiating employment provisions in sale and purchase agreements and transitional services agreements
  • Conducting buyer and seller due diligence to identify material employment-related risks
  • Negotiating exit terms for departing executives and management
  • Supporting with post-transaction issues including policy and contract reviews
