I am a media lawyer, qualified to practise in England & Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland with over 12 years' experience representing clients across multiple jurisdictions in disputes relating principally to defamation, privacy and harassment. Past and present clients range from global technology companies and international organisations to high-profile public figures, journalists, publishers and broadcasters.

I am a co-founder of Next Generation Media Lawyers, a professional association and networking group for practitioners in media law.

  • Representing Claimants and Defendants in High Court litigation in England & Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in disputes relating to defamation, privacy, harassment, malicious falsehood, data protection and breach of confidence. Notable cases include a landmark privacy ruling on intermediary liability, resulting in the first privacy-related damages award against this intermediary in the United Kingdom
  • Representing high-profile individuals in unlawful information gathering litigation against News Group Newspapers and MGN Limited
