I am highly experienced corporate finance lawyer with a keen interest in Digital and Alternative Legal Services delivery. I have over 20 years of experience spanning both transactional work in Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity Capital Markets, Investment Funds and commercial matters, as well as deep knowledge of the legal tech and ALSP market from founding and growing a market leading Corporate / Commercial ALSP team.

I have acted for clients across a range of sectors on acquisitions and divestments as well as multiple investment rounds, with a particular focus on the energy and renewables sectors for both corporate and asset / fund managers.

As part of building and leading an alternative legal services teams, I focused on designing and optimising non-contentious services / products for my clients across deal support, commercial BAU retainers, and large regulatory repapering exercises.

My passion is to understand my clients needs and pain points and then design practical, efficient solutions to deliver the best outcomes for them.

Corporate

  • Leading a range of transactional matters in the M&A, ECM and investment space, including drafting and negotiating share and asset purchase agreements, investment/subscription agreements and shareholder agreements
  • Co-ordinating cross-border deals, especially large due diligence exercises, using efficient legal processes and legal technology
  • Working for multiple funds and asset managers across their life-cycle, from raising finance, to undertaking internal reorganisations for commercial or regulatory reasons, to exits either via divestments or IPOs
  • Building bespoke solutions and products for clients, both in relation to their regular business-as-usual work, as well as for deals, portfolios of deals and projects
