I am a Managing Associate in the Employment team based in Leeds.

I have over 10 years experience in employment law advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters. I have a particular specialism in Tribunal litigation but also regularly advise on day to day HR advice, policies and contracts.

Experience

Employment Litigation

  • Dealing with substantial volumes of Tribunal litigation work acting for both individuals and employers.
  • Extensive knowledge of advising both legally and strategically on a wide range of claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistle blowing and equal pay
  • Advising on multi Claimant litigation supported by Trade Unions, including holiday pay.

Employment

  • Advise on a variety of different employment matters, including grievances, disciplinaries and redundancies.
  • Providing advice on complex, technical areas of law including providing advice to a business on holiday pay and national minimum wage.
  • Advising businesses on managing employee contracts, including redundancies where the employee has more than one contract with the same employer.
