LONDON – Lewis Silkin LLP today announces that Richard Miskella and Jo Farmer have been respectively re-elected to the role of Joint Managing Partner.
Jo Farmer has been re-elected for a second term as Joint Managing Partner. Having joined the firm more than two decades ago, she was made partner in 2008, and was joint head of its Digital, Commerce and Creative group before her election to Joint Managing Partner.
Richard Miskella, meanwhile, has been re-elected for a third term as Joint Managing Partner, having served in the role since its creation in 2019. Widely recognised as one of the UK’s foremost employment law experts, Richard is head of the firm’s employment practice, and has also spent more than 20 years at Lewis Silkin.
The Joint Managing Partners’ three-year term commences from the 1st of April 2026.
Lucy Lewis, Chair of the Partnership at Lewis Silkin, said:
I am very pleased to confirm the unanimous re-election of Jo and Rich to Joint Managing Partner. Since they started working together as JMPs in 2023, we have expanded our footprint into Leeds and Scotland, introduced a trailblazing new parental leave policy, increased our headcount by almost 50%, and won the ‘Law Firm of the Year’ category at The Lawyer Awards 2025. We’re also expecting our third consecutive year of double-digit revenue growth.
Looking ahead, the firm will continue to target strong growth over the coming three years, and continue to expand our regional teams, including adding additional specialists in areas such as immigration, data, tax, reward and incentives, corporate and IP over time. Following the launch last year of Delphius - our AI-powered guide to global employment law - we’ll be launching other new technology products that we’ve built and invested in, including a subscription-based product aimed at influencers and the creator economy, and an online pay equity analysis tool. We’re very much looking forward to the next exciting chapter for the firm under Jo and Rich’s continued leadership.
