However, online advertising faces a myriad of privacy challenges and technical developments, including the ICO setting out its expectations that users have more meaningful control and the emergence across Europe of new ‘consent or pay’ models as a means of obtaining consent for stringent ‘storage and access’ ePrivacy requirements.
