Alina Trapova Dr Alina Trapova is a Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law at University College London (UK) and a Co-Director of the Institute for Brand and Innovation Law (IBIL) at UCL Laws since January 2023. Alina is also one of the Managing Editors of the Kluwer Copyright Blog and is part of the Editorial Board of the Interactive Entertainment Law Review. Alina's research interests focus on copyright law and the implications of generative AI for the creative industries. As such, she leads the IBIL series on generative AI and copyright law. |

Ben Field Benjamin Field is an award-winning producer and director with two decades experience in the development and execution of specialist factual and formats. He is known for his work on The Girl Who’s Allergic to Herself for Sky TV, My Life: I’m Leading the Dance for the BBC and is recognized as a technical pioneer for the inventive use of ‘deep fake’ technology in screen media showcased by the recent intimate ITV/Britbox feature doc Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted about the life of the brilliant yet troubled creator of iconic TV show, Thunderbirds. Deep Fusion Films recently produced a pioneering podcast series Virtually Parkinson hosted by an AI replica of the late Sir Michael Parkinson launched early this year. This project has galvanised the company’s position at the forefront of ethical creative applications of AI. As one of the only UK producers to have successfully used the technology in television, film and podcasting, he contributes to multiple industry trade bodies in the UK & US to help develop the framework, legislation and policy on the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence in broadcast content. Benjamin is a champion of diversity in the media industry and frequently appears as a guest on podcasts and BBC News as a trusted source for the latest thinking and insights on the application, potential and ethics of Artificial Intelligence within television and film. His company, Deep Fusion Films, is a full-scale independent production company forged at the interface of technology, creativity and human stories. |

Candice Macleod Candice is General Counsel and Head of Sustainability at adam&eveDDB. She advises on ad clearance, creative/production contracts, PR/risk management and complaint resolution, across a diverse portfolio of global clients in the sportswear, FMCG, motoring and telco sectors, as well as on hard hitting pro bono work. Candice is passionate about sustainability and DE&I in the creative industry and supported the IPA on drafting the Covid Tripartite Addendum, the new Creative Services Framework Agreement and the industry guidance for use of generative AI. |

Daniel Hulme Daniel Hulme (PhD) is a globally recognised expert in AI and investor in emerging technologies. He's the CEO of the award-winning AI company Satalia, acquired by the world's largest media company in 2021, WPP, where Daniel is also the Chief AI Officer. Daniel has been recognised as one of the top 10 Chief AI Officers globally. Amongst his investments, Daniel is also Co-founder and CEO of the World's first commercial research organisation to understand machine consciousness, Conscium. Having received a Masters and Doctorate in AI at UCL, Daniel has several academic roles including UCL's Computer Science Entrepreneur in Residence, focused on using AI to solve business and social problems. Daniel is a serial TEDx and keynote speaker on AI, ethics, innovation and decentralization, and is a faculty member of SingularityU. He has advisory and executive positions across companies and governments where he actively promotes purposeful entrepreneurship and technology innovation. |

Janine McKelvey Janine leads a multidisciplinary team of data lawyers, compliance, and assurance professionals #gettingdatadone for BT’s business units in the UK and internationally across 180 jurisdictions. Her team are responsible for advisory, compliance and assurance obligations relating to existing and emerging data laws, including AI, data ethics, data governance, privacy and security. Prior to joining BT, Janine was an SVP of Legal and Business Affairs at Warner Bros. for many years and in private practice with Pinsent Masons (UK) and Bowmans (RSA). |

Sachin Beepath Sachin is the Head of AI Governance Solutions at Holistic AI, specialising in responsible AI adoption and scalability. Originally from Toronto, he studied astrophysics at the University of Waterloo before earning an MSc in Data Science and Machine Learning at UCL, where he did his dissertation on Bias in Facial Recognition. He works closely with industry leaders, business executives, and technical teams to drive fair, transparent, and impactful AI innovation. |

Sophia Ignatidou Sophia is the Group Manager for Artificial Intelligence Policy at the ICO, leading the UK data protection authority’s team of AI policy and technology experts, working with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams. Her portfolio covers areas such as strategic thinking on AI for the organisation, policy on emerging issues such as generative AI and cross-regulatory coordination. She is the ICO sponsor at the Artificial Intelligence workstream of the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum (DRCF) and has represented the ICO at a variety of fora such as the Global Privacy Assembly's AI Working Group, the BSI AI Committee, and more. She was previously a fellow at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) and a journalist. |
