I act for a range of national and international employers in a variety of sectors, including technology, advertising and marketing, property, retail and financial services.
I therefore advise on a broad spectrum of employment issues from general HR queries and employment relations matters to more complex areas such as TUPE, discrimination, post-termination restrictions and senior terminations. I have considerable experience of handling disputes and regularly act for clients defending claims in the Employment Tribunal as well as dealing with mediations and arbitrations.
I work with my senior HR clients to help them develop and deliver their important projects and strategic goals and I have a particular interest in employee engagement and well being and have organized and spoke at conferences on both subjects. In addition, I often work with our colleagues in our global alliance, Ius Laboris, obtaining and coordinating advice from foreign jurisdictions for international projects.
I work with a wide variety of businesses in the technology sector, including supplies of both hardware and software. I therefore have considerable experience in dealing with issues such as bonus schemes, data protection, intellectual property and confidential information.
Advertising & Marketing
I also act for a number of advertising and marketing agencies and am a member of the firms advertising and marketing sector group. I regularly advise on TUPE issues when client accounts change hands, including the drafting of TUPE provisions in client agency agreements.
