On 31 January 2025, the UK government introduced the AI Cyber Security Code to address the unique security risks of AI systems, with the longer term aim of establishing a global standard for AI security.
This Code consists of 13 Principles across the AI lifecycle to help businesses secure their AI systems and build trust. It is also accompanied by an implementation guide, outlining practical scenarios.
