Two major changes to harassment law are happening on 30 October that will affect all employers. The duty to prevent sexual harassment is being strengthened to require “all” reasonable steps, and liability for harassment by third parties is being introduced.

Join us for a discursive roundtable where we will discuss employers' duties in relation to third-party harassment and what other businesses are doing to prepare.

The changes will require employers to take proactive measures to prevent harassment in the workplace, raising important questions around policies, training, reporting mechanisms, and managing interactions with clients, customers, contractors and other third parties. The roundtable will provide an opportunity to share experiences, discuss common challenges with peers, and gain practical insights into navigating the new requirements, all within Chatham House Rules.
