Supporting Individuals in Partnerships
We have a long track record of acting for individuals who are partners or members of LLPs
That typically requires advice on rights and liabilities in the context of either joining or leaving a firm.
We routinely assist individual partners when negotiating or documenting an exit or when they need advice on allegations of misconduct, fiduciary duties, restrictive covenants, discrimination, or team moves.
Our specialist team of lawyers has extensive experience of advising individuals who work in the professional services sector including lawyers, accountants, surveyors and management consultants. We have a particular focus on advising people engaged across the financial services sector, including private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative investment management businesses.
Our lawyers are recognised as robust and highly experienced advocates for our clients’ rights, often helping them to steer a path to enable a smooth transition to a new business, without damaging litigation.
