Lauren ShrubbTrainee

My role primarily entails managing and executing international advertising and commercial clearance work across a variety of clients, performing trademark clearance searches and analyses, and assisting the team at large as and where necessary on both contentious and non-contentious matters. I will begin my training contract with the firm in August 2018.

I’m originally from Toronto, Canada, and have a BA in Journalism and French from the University of Idaho in the United States, which I attended whilst on a full athletic scholarship for tennis. After graduating, I worked in advertising at BBDO Toronto as an Account Manager for nearly four years, prior to making the decision to move to the Netherlands to attend law school. I earned my LLB in EU and comparative European law from Maastricht University, and then moved to London to complete my GDL and LPC.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, hiking, and cooking, and I am currently learning German.
