I act for a wide range of clients on contentious matters, in particular advising on commercial disputes covering a wide range of issues, including contract disputes, breach of warranty and indemnity claims, shareholder disputes and tortious claims.
I have a particular interest in cases relating to insolvency, and sat my CPI examination last June.
I received a 1st class Honours degree in Law from The University of Manchester. I am also a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association.
I have experience in pre-action advisory work, High Court litigation and in dispute resolution, in each case working with clients to find the best legal and commercial solutions in a cost-effective manner.
Examples of past cases include post transaction breach of warranty and indemnity claims, claims against directors for breach of duty, shareholder disputes, and unpaid commission claims.
I have acted for and against Insolvency Practitioners in contentious matters. Examples of past cases include claims in respect of unlawful distributions and antecedent transaction claims.
