I am a Trainee Solicitor at Lewis Silkin and started my training contract with the firm in August 2018.
I am currently gaining experience in the firm’s top-tier Employment practice, having spent my previous seat on secondments to a major retailer and a global advertising agency.
I initially joined the firm back in 2016 as a member of the IP and Commercial teams, where I spent 2 years working with global clients across several industries on their international brand protection and advertising campaigns.
I’m originally from Toronto, Canada, and have a BA in Journalism and French from the University of Idaho in the United States, which I attended whilst on a full athletic scholarship for tennis. I then worked in advertising at BBDO Toronto as an Account Manager for nearly four years, prior to making the decision to move to the Netherlands to attend law school. I earned my LLB in EU and comparative European law from Maastricht University in 2014.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, hiking, and cooking, and I am currently learning German.
As part of the Employment team, I work with other fee earners on a wide variety of matters from day-to-day HR support through to assisting with complex or contentious disputes in the Employment Tribunals and High Court.
