Having originally studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering, I spent a number of years as a jack of all trades at an automation firm, taking on control panel design and manufacture, software, process engineering, fluid and powder mechanics and commissioning.  From here I experienced the power of intellectual property, and began my journey as a patent attorney.  

In my patent practice I specialise in Electrical and Electronic systems and equipment as well as heavy machinery, but have enjoyed work over a wide range of technologies, and I have varied experience in telecommunications, software, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, digital signal processing, power circuitry and consumer products.
