I am a Trainee Solicitor at Lewis Silkin, having started my training contract in September 2023.
I am currently in my first seat in the Dispute Resolution department at the firm’s London office. Before starting my training contract, I worked in Lewis Silkin’s Risk & Compliance team as a paralegal. I primarily assisted with advising and gathering Client Due Diligence but also answering queries on conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
I have a law degree from the University of Bristol and an LPC with MSc in Law and Business Management from the University of Law.
Since joining the firm I have been involved in various pro bono and CSR activities. I was part of the reading scheme at St Alban’s Primary School, where I read to children who were learning English. I volunteered for the LS Mentoring Scheme where I was paired with a secondary school student from a social mobility ‘cold spot’ to provide career advice. Finally, I was a case worker on pro bono project with Amicus who are a charity that aims to secure equal access to justice for those facing the death penalty in the US.
