In House Employment Lawyers Club
Lewis Silkin’s In House Employment Lawyers Club (IHELC) provides a specialist forum for discussion of significant developments in employment law and their implications.
IHELC meets quarterly and there is no charge for membership or attendance at any of the meetings. We also organise occasional social events.
Membership is by invitation only and restricted to in-house lawyers who either specialise exclusively in or undertake a significant proportion of employment work.
Benefits of membership include:
High-level roundtable discussions
These quarterly meetings on hot topics of employment law, over either breakfast or lunch, are IHELC’s core activity. The meeting dates for 2020 are:
- Wednesday 25 March - 9.00am - 10.30am
- Tuesday 30 June - 3.30pm - 5.00pm
- Thursday 17 September - 12.30pm - 2.00pm
- Thursday 3 December - 9.00am - 10.30am
We don’t fix the topics for these meetings too far in advance so as to retain flexibility to cover the most relevant and timely issues.
Email employment law alerts
After each meeting, members receive a document summarising the key points and issues that were discussed. This is in addition to all our regular Lewis Silkin employment law publications.
A free place at our employment law training events
We have a full programme of seminars running throughout the year covering key employment law related topics and club members benefit from a free place at these events.
